Material Options Explained

Paper Prints

Paper prints are printed on archival-grade and acid-free semi-gloss/lustre fine art paper to ensure a longer print life. It is a premium-quality photo paper with a resin coating that makes it feel thicker, heavier, and more durable than most photo papers. The coating helps eliminate glare and visibility of fingerprints, so the ink colors come through vividly with no interference from smudges or smears. Colors really "pop" on this paper, bringing out the vividness of the photos and artwork that is printed on it - bringing forth a lot of details in the print.

All paper prints will have a 0.25inch bleed area on all edges, so the actual print area will be 0.5inches smaller than the print size. Example - an 12×18 inch print will have an actual print area of 11.5×17.5 inches with a 0.25inch white bleed area.

This is to prevent the small overlap by the edge of the frame or mat that holds the print within the display window from intruding over the edge of the print.

  • For quick cleaning, dust your fine art paper print with a soft dry cloth or a feather duster.

  • Do not display in area with direct sunlight to keep the print from fading over time.

  • Framing the print is highly recommended to protect it from damages.

Paper prints are shipped in triangular boxes or kraft mailing tubes for larger prints. Once unpacked and rolled flat, it will loose its rolled shape within for 24 hrs and will be easier to mount and frame it.

Canvas Prints

Canvas prints come as image printed on canvas stretched over a wooden frame. They are printed on thick, archival-grade and acid-free canvas with a 360gsm weight for lasting durability. The canvas has a bright white surface and subtle semi-gloss finish that delivers vibrant colors. Solid wood stretcher bars ensure that the canvas print does not warp or bow over time. The edges of the image are reflected onto the sides of the canvas, preserving the full image on the front. They come with a hanging wire installed in the back, so they can go on the wall immediately.

  • For quick cleaning, dust your canvas with a soft dry cloth or a feather duster.

  • For a deep clean, use a clean damp cloth to wipe the canvas as gently as possible.Clean with care and let it dry on its own. Don’t soak or spray the canvas. Avoid using harsh chemicals and abrasive tools that may damage the canvas or scrub away the ink.

  • Do not display in area with direct sunlight to keep the print from fading over time. Avoid displaying or storing in damp, humid areas to prevent molds on print and warping of stretcher bars.

Metal Prints

Metal prints, also known as aluminum prints, are made from sleek aluminum sheets with image transferred through dye sublimation. The infusion of the image to the aluminum’s coating offers a level of vibrancy and vividness not seen in other print medium. Plus, their protective polymer coating makes them durable, scratch-resistant, and water-resistant. It is shipped as a frameless sleek and modern wall art print on metal, edge-to-edge. A hidden inset frame on the back lifts the image ¾ inch off the wall for a floating look. The inset frame has a lip that can be rested on the screws on the wall, or you can also use the included and installed hanging wire (recommended - specially for larger sizes).

  • For quick cleaning, dust your metal print with a microfiber or soft dry cloth.

  • For a deep clean, you can apply  warm water or a mild cleanser.

  • Do not display in area with direct sunlight to keep the print from fading over time.
